ENA drama Your Honor is enjoying an unexpected second wave of popularity, climbing to No. 1 on Netflix in South Korea nearly two years after its original television run.

The series originally aired from August 12 to September 10, 2024. It was later added to Netflix on August 20, 2026, and reached No. 1 on the platform’s South Korean series ranking just six days later, on August 26.

As of August 27, Your Honor remained at the top of Netflix Korea’s Today’s Top 10 Series chart, showing strong renewed interest in the drama.

Director Yoo Jong Sun shared his surprise and gratitude over the sudden rise in popularity. Posting on social media, he wrote, “It feels amazing. I think this may be the greatest honor a drama can experience two years after it aired.”

He also specifically thanked actor Heo Nam Joon and his fans, suggesting that their support may have helped bring new attention to the series.

Yoo Jong Sun said, “First of all, I want to thank actor Heo Nam Joon and his fans, who may have helped create the opportunity for this comeback.”

He also expressed appreciation to writer Kim Jae Hwan, the cast, staff, production team, and viewers who supported the drama.

“Thank you again to the wonderful script, our incredible actors, my amazing staff, and everyone involved in the production,” he said before adding a lighthearted message of love to viewers.

Your Honor follows a judge who attempts to protect his son after a serious crime, placing him in conflict with a powerful man determined to uncover the truth. The series stars Son Hyun Joo, Kim Myung Min, Kim Do Hoon, Heo Nam Joon, and Jung Eun Chae.

Its sudden rise to No. 1 on Netflix nearly two years after its original broadcast has given the drama a rare second life, introducing Your Honor to a new group of viewers.
