Shin Min Ah’s new movie “The Eyes” is gaining strong momentum at the Korean box office.

According to the Korean Film Council’s integrated movie ticket network on July 4, “The Eyes” brought in 91,445 moviegoers on July 3. The film has now reached a total of 574,302 viewers, officially passing the 500,000 mark.

The Eyes” was released on June 24 and started at No. 2 on the box office chart. It continued to hold second place behind “Toy Story 5” before climbing to No. 1 for the first time on July 2, about one week after its release.

The movie has now stayed at No. 1 for 3 straight days, showing steady word of mouth and growing interest from viewers.

Shin Min Ah has also been actively promoting the film, drawing more attention to its box office rise.

The Eyes” is a suspense thriller about Seo Jin, a photographer who is slowly losing her eyesight because of a genetic condition. As she investigates the mystery surrounding her twin sister’s death, she comes closer to the hidden truth.

In the film, Shin Min Ah takes on a dual role as Seo Jin and her twin sister Seo In, a visually impaired ceramic artist who dies under mysterious circumstances.
