Shin Min Ah’s new film “The Eyes” has climbed to No. 1 at the Korean box office.

According to the Korean Film Council’s integrated ticket network on July 2, “The Eyes” brought in 49,100 moviegoers on July 1, marking its 7th day since release. The film has now reached a total of 432,139 viewers.

The Eyes” was released on June 24 and started at No. 2 on the box office chart. It continued to stay in 2nd place behind “Toy Story 5” before finally rising to the top spot one week after its release.

The result is drawing attention as Shin Min Ah has been actively promoting the movie, while positive word of mouth appears to be helping the film gain more viewers.

The Eyes” is a suspense thriller about Seo Jin, a photographer who is slowly losing her eyesight due to a genetic disease.

While looking into the suspicious death of her twin sister, she begins to face the truth behind the case.

In the film, Shin Min Ah takes on dual roles as Seo Jin and her twin sister Seo In. Seo In is a ceramic artist who overcame visual impairment but later dies under mysterious circumstances.

With its rise to No. 1 in just 7 days, “The Eyes” is showing steady box office momentum.
