Former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin has personally spoken out following her legal victory in the put option lawsuit against HYBE.

On February 12, the Seoul Central District Court ruled in favor of Min Hee Jin, dismissing HYBE’s claim to terminate the shareholder agreement.

The court also recognized the validity of her put option exercise and ordered HYBE to pay approximately 25.5 billion KRW, while covering the legal costs.

After the ruling, OOAK Records released an official statement expressing respect for the court’s decision.

The company stated, “We express our deep respect to the court for its careful and objective judgment,” adding that the ruling confirmed “the validity of the shareholder agreement and the legitimacy of the put option rights.”

Min Hee Jin also shared her thoughts through a lengthy message. She said she hopes the legal process will go beyond personal rights and serve as an opportunity to correct “unreasonable practices” in the K-Pop industry, and to remind people of “the seriousness of contracts.”

Reflecting on the long dispute, she described the past two years as “valuable time,” expressing hope that the situation could become “a turning point for K-Pop.”

The company further stated, “Regardless of the verdict, we sincerely apologize to fans and entertainment industry officials who may have felt tired during the dispute.

It also acknowledged the long legal battle by saying that HYBE officials “worked hard” throughout the process.

Looking ahead, OOAK Records said it will move forward without dwelling on past conflicts. The company plans to focus on building a stable management system, maximizing the value of artists, and nurturing new talent that can represent the K-Pop industry.

Min Hee Jin also shared that she will now concentrate on her original roles as a creator, producer, and executive, signaling a new chapter following the high profile legal case.
