BTS member Jungkook has once again proven his unmatched global impact—this time at New York Fashion Week.
According to WWD, Calvin Klein soared to the top of social media engagement during the 2025 SS26 season, recording an incredible 12.9 million score. This marks a 1,168% jump from last season and ended Michael Kors’ six-year reign at the top.
Experts point to Jungkook as the driving force. The BTS member, who has been Calvin Klein’s global ambassador since March 2023, made his fashion week debut on September 12 at the brand’s runway show in the Brant Foundation.
The numbers prove it. Just five video posts of Jungkook brought in 4.4 million engagements, while a single Instagram clip of him arriving at the venue generated media exposure worth over $825,000.
The very next day, Jungkook dominated X (Twitter) with more than 1 million posts, making him the “most mentioned musician” of the day and accounting for 15% of Calvin Klein’s entire engagement.
Fans couldn’t hide their excitement as Jungkook showed up in a beige oversized suit paired with silver jewelry.
Hundreds gathered around the East Village venue, causing traffic jams, while the hashtag #JUNGKOOKxCALVINKLEIN quickly trended worldwide. Fans gushed with comments like, “The prince has arrived,” and “His face itself is the economy.”
Fashion insiders also emphasized his unmatched influence, saying, “Just one appearance by Jungkook brought Calvin Klein back to the top after 6 years. This is a symbolic moment showing how much impact a K-pop star can have on Western fashion.”
