
BTS member Jungkook continues to show incredible long term success as a solo artist, with his debut solo song Seven once again making history on Korea’s largest music platform.
According to Melon, Seven ranked No. 60 on the 2025 Melon yearly chart, marking its third consecutive year on the annual rankings.
The song previously placed No. 22 in 2023 and No. 20 in 2024, proving its steady popularity over time.

Seven has also shown strong staying power on weekly charts. As of the 21st, the song has remained on Melon’s weekly chart for 132 weeks, continuing an impressive long run.
On the Melon Top 100, the track reached No. 1 and stayed in the Top 3 for 69 days, Top 5 for 100 days, Top 10 for 164 days, and Top 50 for 451 days, highlighting Jungkook’s strong digital presence.
Released in 2023, Jungkook reached No. 1 on Melon’s Top 100 in just 11 hours, the fastest time that year. He also became the first male idol to top the chart in 2023 and the first male artist to reach No. 1 on the Melon weekly chart while also hitting 100,000 likes in the shortest time, setting multiple new records.

Jungkook further topped Melon’s Weekly Popularity Award Top 20 for four consecutive weeks.
The song’s success extends beyond Korea. Seven stayed on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart for 131 weeks, setting the first and longest record for an Asian solo artist, and has surpassed 2.76 billion streams on the platform.
On the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global (excluding the US) charts, the song charted for 128 weeks and 129 weeks, respectively, marking the longest charting run for an Asian solo artist on both charts.
With Seven continuing to chart year after year, Jungkook has firmly established himself as one of the strongest solo artists both in Korea and worldwide.
