
BTS Jungkook is continuing his historic run on global music charts, setting new records as an Asian solo artist.
Jungkook’s solo debut song “Seven”, released in 2023, ranked No. 77 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart for January 16 to 22, 2026, recording over 12.12 million streams during the week. The song has now remained on the chart for 132 weeks, making it the first and longest charting song by an Asian solo artist in Spotify history.
His first solo album “GOLDEN” also showed strong staying power. During the same period, the album ranked No. 81 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums Global chart. With this, “GOLDEN” has now charted for 116 consecutive weeks, becoming the first and longest charting album by an Asian solo artist.


In terms of streaming numbers, “GOLDEN” has surpassed 6.6 billion total streams on Spotify, setting a new record as the most streamed full album by an Asian artist. Meanwhile, “Seven” has exceeded 2.76 billion streams, the first Asian artist song to reach this level, and continues to move toward the 2.8 billion mark.
“Seven” has also added another major achievement by ranking No. 1 as the most streamed song among all tracks released in 2023 on Spotify. Jungkook’s personal Spotify profile has now passed 10.3 billion total streams, making him the fastest Asian artist and the first K pop solo artist to reach this milestone.
On Billboard, “Seven” continues its long run on the Global 200 and Global Excluding US charts, where it has charted for 129 weeks and 131 weeks, respectively. This marks yet another first and longest record for an Asian solo artist, further proving Jungkook’s strong and lasting presence in the global music market.
