BigHit Music’s rookie boy group CORTIS (MARTIN, JAMES, JUHOON, SEONGHYEON, and KEONHO) is already gaining explosive attention after showing fans a peek into their real dorm life.
On August 22, the group uploaded their first-ever self-made content on their official channel. The video captured the members preparing for their flight to Los Angeles for the concept photoshoot of their debut album COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES, released in March.
Fans loved the members’ natural looks — with messy hair and bare faces without makeup — as they packed their bags in the dorm. James confidently declared that, “you must wear comfortable clothes when going to the airport,” while Joo Hoon wandered around aimlessly.
Martin and Sung Hyun were more focused on joking than packing, and Geon Ho joined in, creating plenty of hilarious moments that highlighted their different personalities.
The video also revealed their everyday lifestyle, from unmade beds to sharing clothes. At one point, a member even teased, “Even the clothes you’re wearing are mine.”
They also showed off their favorite brands, skincare routines, and broke into a spontaneous freestyle rap with beatboxing and ad-libs, giving fans a taste of their playful and free-spirited energy.
As of August 27, the video has already surpassed 810,000 views, drawing attention from fans both in Korea and overseas. On top of this, CORTIS has been consistently uploading dance practice videos, keeping fans entertained with more behind-the-scenes content.
