BTS is back on top of the charts — this time with a live album!

On July 28, Billboard revealed that BTS's live album “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE LIVE,” which dropped on July 18, has debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 chart (dated August 2).

Even though the album has no new songs, it still earned a top 10 spot, proving once again that BTS is unstoppable.

With this latest charting, BTS now has 16 albums total on the Billboard 200 — eight of which made the Top 10.

This breaks the record for the most Top 10 entries by any Korean artist in Billboard history. They've also scored six No. 1 albums so far, including with “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7” and “Proof.”

Even more impressive, BTS has become only the third act since 2020 — following Taylor Swift and Metallica — to land a Top 10 debut with a live album.

For its first week, “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE LIVE” racked up:

  • 36,000 pure album sales
  • 5,000 SEA units (streaming equivalent albums)
  • 2,000 TEA units (track equivalent from digital downloads)

The album is BTS’s first-ever live concert album, packed with performances from their 2021–2022 global tour, which hit Seoul, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas for a total of 12 shows, both online and in-person.

It features 22 tracks, including fan favorites like “Dynamite,” “Butter,” “Permission to Dance,” “Blood Sweat & Tears,” and “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey.

And there’s more good news for ARMY! BTS has officially announced their group comeback for spring 2026.

During a Weverse Live broadcast on July 1, it was confirmed that the members will start heading to the U.S. one by one starting July to begin preparing for new music and a massive world tour.

2026 is already shaping up to be a huge year for BTS — and their fans can’t wait!
