NCT 127’s latest dance challenge is gaining attention after Hollywood stars Matt Damon, Charlize Theron, and Terry Crews joined the trend for the group’s new title track Blingy.
According to SM Entertainment on August 31, the three actors participated in the Blingy challenge, creating an unexpected crossover between NCT 127 and several well-known Hollywood names.
NCT 127 returned on August 24 with their seventh full-length album Blingy, led by the title track of the same name.
The choreography for Blingy highlights the members’ individual styles before moving into powerful group formations, rhythmic grooves, and signature hand movements inspired by the song’s title.

The performance also mixes stronger dance sections with more relaxed gestures to match NCT 127’s hip-hop style.
Blingy is a hip-hop track built around distorted synth sounds, heavy drum beats, and a chanting chorus. The song also incorporates elements of rage and dubstep, while its lyrics express confidence in NCT 127’s performance abilities and pride in the group.
The group’s seventh full-length album Blingy contains nine tracks across different genres.
With Matt Damon, Charlize Theron, and Terry Crews now joining the dance challenge, Blingy is attracting additional attention beyond the usual K-pop audience.
