KATSEYE member Sophia will temporarily step back from scheduled activities as she continues focusing on her health and recovery.
On August 31, HYBE and Geffen Records shared an update through KATSEYE’s official Weverse, confirming that Sophia will not participate in the upcoming European and UK dates of THE WILDWORLD TOUR.
The agency stated, “Sophia is currently focusing on her recovery, and we are doing our best to provide her with all the support and resources she needs.”
As a result, Sophia will be absent from the tour schedule running from September 1 through September 17 across Europe and the United Kingdom.
The company added, “The artist’s health and long-term well-being are always our highest priority, and we ask for EYEKONS’ understanding.”
HYBE and Geffen Records said they will provide further updates if there are any changes and asked fans to continue supporting Sophia and KATSEYE.
KATSEYE is also currently without Manon, who had previously paused activities. With Sophia temporarily stepping away as well, the group is expected to perform as four members for the time being.
No additional details about Sophia’s health were disclosed.
