Ok Taec Yeon has fans doing a double take after revealing that he recently grew taller—at age 38!
On June 9, a new episode of "Jjanhan Hyung" featuring So Ji Sub and Ok Taec Yeon was posted on the YouTube channel Jjanhan Hyung Shin Dong Yeob. The episode titled “So Ji Sub and Ok Taec Yeon [Jjanhan Hyung] EP. 96 – Cha Moo Hyuk of 2025 Appears! So Gan Ji Sets a New Legend on Jjanhan Hyung” brought plenty of fun moments, but it was Taec Yeon's height confession that really caught fans off guard.
While standing to pour drinks, Jung Ho Chul playfully warned Taec Yeon, “Be careful not to hit the ceiling,” and asked, “How tall are you?” Taec Yeon casually replied, “187cm,” which instantly shocked everyone.
Shin Dong Yeob said, “I knew you were tall, but you’re really tall,” looking amazed. But the real surprise came next.
Taec Yeon added, “I actually grew a little recently,” leaving the cast even more curious. He explained, “When I had my military physical exam, I was 185cm. But during a recent health check, they said I was 187cm.”
Shin Dong Yeob couldn’t help but joke, “That happens to me too. Sometimes I think, ‘Huh? I feel taller than before.’ I used to wear 270mm shoes, but suddenly they didn’t fit anymore,” making everyone laugh. He added with a smile, “Sorry, this is how I make a living.”
Fans are amazed that the 1988-born star, who is now 38 years old, could still be growing. Whether it’s posture, stretching, or just good genes—Ok Taec Yeon continues to surprise with his ever-evolving charm.
