Global girl group KATSEYE has reached a major milestone as their hit song Gabriela officially surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, becoming the group's first song to achieve the record.

According to Spotify data reported on October 18, Gabriela passed the 1 billion streaming mark as of October 16, earning KATSEYE their first entry into Spotify's Billions Club.

The achievement comes just 484 days after the song was released on June 20, 2025, marking an important moment in the group's growing global popularity.

Gabriela, a pre-release track from KATSEYE's second EP Beautiful Chaos, gained attention for its catchy pop sound, Latin-inspired acoustic guitar melodies, and the members' vocals.

The song also performed strongly on international music charts. It reached No. 21 on Billboard's Hot 100, setting a new personal best for the group at the time, and remained on the chart for 28 weeks.

On Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global chart, Gabriela reportedly spent a total of 64 weeks, showing its lasting popularity among listeners worldwide.

The song's music video, which features a special appearance by Hollywood actress Jessica Alba, has also attracted significant attention and is approaching 100 million views on YouTube.

KATSEYE's latest achievement adds to the group's growing list of international accomplishments. Their EP Wild, released in August 2026, reportedly reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200, while its track Animal surpassed 100 million Spotify streams just 32 days after its release.

The HYBE and Geffen Records girl group has also received two nominations for the 68th Grammy Awards, further highlighting its international recognition.

Meanwhile, KATSEYE continues to connect with fans through their The Wildworld Tour, alongside other scheduled performances.

With Gabriela becoming their first song to cross 1 billion Spotify streams, KATSEYE has achieved one of its biggest streaming milestones yet, demonstrating the group's expanding presence in the global music industry.
