• Super Junior’s Heechul Reveals the Truth About His Disability After a Shocking Car Accident—Fans Had No Idea!

Super Junior’s Heechul recently made a shocking confession about his past on SBS’s My Little Old Boy, revealing a deeply personal story that had never been shared before.

On the January 12th episode, actor Jin Tae Hyun joined the show as a special MC, and Heechul decided to get his fortune told during the broadcast.

The fortune-teller dropped a surprising statement, saying, “Heechul, your current life is like a bonus. You went through a huge crisis in your 20s, and it left your body severely impacted.”

Fans may recall that Heechul suffered a devastating car accident in 2006, fracturing his femur and sustaining serious injuries. However, what many didn’t know is that the accident led to Heechul being officially classified as disabled.

Heechul shared, “After the accident, I was given a disability grade. I could’ve even gotten a car sticker for it. I went to get it, but I thought, ‘No, I should live more actively,’ and decided not to. Back then, I didn’t want to admit my body was in pain. I wanted to overcome it.”

He continued, “It was over 10 years ago, and I never told my fans because I didn’t want them to feel sad. I kept it to myself and tried to live positively.”

Heechul’s mother also opened up about the terrifying ordeal. Fighting back tears, she said, “At the time, Heechul had a packed schedule. He was coming back from Donghae’s father’s funeral when the accident happened."

She added, "His injuries were so severe that doctors said he might not be able to dance again. His ankle was completely shattered, and his femur was badly damaged, requiring metal pins.”

Despite the odds, Heechul recovered enough to return to the stage, but his mother revealed, “Even now, his legs hurt a lot when he performs. Thinking about that time still makes me emotional.”

The fortune-teller issued a strong warning for the future, stating, “You must be very careful in July 2025, especially in the summer. There’s a risk of another serious injury, so you need to avoid danger at all costs.” They also suggested keeping red roses at home to help protect him from misfortune.

The topic of marriage came up during the session, with Heechul asking, “When will I get married?” The fortune-teller replied, “You could get married anytime if you decide to, but you’ll feel lonely even if you do."

The fortune-teller added, "Your soulmate has already passed you by, so you need to let go of that idea. You shouldn’t marry an ordinary person. Only someone like you—a celebrity—can truly understand and support you.”

Heechul’s brave confession has touched fans’ hearts, showing just how much he values their happiness above all else.

Fans are now rallying behind him with love and support, hoping he stays safe and healthy in the years to come.

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”
