• tripleS to Perform at UFC Champion Alex Pereira's Fan Meeting Dinner Show

    The K-pop group tripleS is about to meet UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira.

    On November 19, tripleS’s agency Modhaus announced that members Jeong Hye-rin, Kaede, Nien, and Lin will perform at Alex Pereira’s fan meeting dinner show on November 22, which will take place at the The Raum Art Center in Seoul.

    This fan meeting dinner show will be a special opportunity for Alex Pereira to interact with his Korean fans directly, and the fact that tripleS, who Pereira is a fan of, has been invited to perform has grabbed the attention of many. This event has become even more exciting due to the rare collaboration between a UFC champion and a K-pop icon, sparking much anticipation.

    tripleS is a unique girl group with 24 members and they made history in K-pop this year with the release of their first full group album, 'ASSEMBLE24.' They are known not only for their innovative DIMENSION activities but also for being the first fan-participation K-pop group in the world.

    Recently, tripleS debuted their first Dance DIMENSION with Vision@ry Vision and their debut album 'Performante' set a new career high with sales nearing 400,000 copies, proving their incredible growth. This achievement also marks a record-breaking milestone for a K-pop unit group.

    tripleS is also expanding internationally, with their subunit tripleS ∞! (Hatch!) debuting in Japan with their single 'Untitled'. Before their official debut, they showed a unique approach by releasing a pre-release track and music video premiere on YouTube.

    On the other hand, Alex Pereira, who is meeting tripleS, made history by becoming a two-division champion. After winning the UFC Middleweight Championship, he moved up to the Light Heavyweight division and successfully defended his title twice this year, proving himself a force in two weight classes.

    Ahead of the fan meeting, Pereira expressed his gratitude, saying, I know many people in Korea are supporting me, and I want to give back the love and support I’ve received through charity work.”

    The fan meeting will feature a variety of exciting events, including tripleS's special performance, as well as Alex Pereira demonstrating his martial arts techniques. There will also be participation from the Korean Top Team and Team MAD, two well-known Korean MMA teams. True to its dinner show format, fans will enjoy a meal while enjoying the entertainment.

    Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

    On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

    During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

    He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

    The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

    “I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

    He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

    “In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

    Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
