Hyun Bin and Jung Woo Sung are preparing for another intense confrontation as Disney+ reveals new character posters and a trailer for Made in Korea Season 2.
The upcoming noir drama brings back key cast members from the first season, including Hyun Bin, Jung Woo Sung, Woo Do Hwan, Seo Eun Soo, Won Ji An, Jung Sung Il, Noh Jae Won, Cha Hee, Jang Hye Jin, and Heo Jung Do.
Set nine years later, Made in Korea Season 2 follows Baek Ki Tae, played by Hyun Bin, as his ambition for greater power pushes him into an increasingly dangerous conflict. Jung Woo Sung returns as Jang Geon Young, who comes back seeking revenge.
The newly released character posters highlight the different goals and loyalties of the 10 central characters. Hyun Bin’s Baek Ki Tae is shown moving toward the top of the power structure, while Jung Woo Sung’s Jang Geon Young prepares to challenge him.
The trailer focuses on an escalating clash between the Korean Central Intelligence Agency and the Joint Investigation Headquarters.
Baek Ki Tae declares, “This is war now. It only ends when one side dies,” setting the tone for the growing power struggle.
Jang Geon Young also warns Baek Ki Hyun, played by Woo Do Hwan, “There are only two choices here. Disappear by dying, or leave alive.”
Other characters are also drawn deeper into the conflict. Seo Eun Soo returns as prosecutor Oh Ye Jin, while Won Ji An plays Ikeda Yuji, who is seeking greater authority within her organization.
The trailer ends with Baek Ki Tae saying, “If you started it, you have to see it through to the end,” emphasizing the increasingly dangerous rivalry at the center of the new season.
Made in Korea Season 2 follows the success of the first season, which was released in 2025. According to the original report, Season 1 became Disney+’s most-watched Korean original content in South Korea that year and remained No. 1 on FlixPatrol’s Disney+ Top 10 TV Shows chart in Korea for 23 consecutive days.
The six-episode second season will be released exclusively on Disney+, with two episodes arriving on September 9, two on September 16, and the final two on September 23.
