• TripleS VV Drops First Album 'Performante' Today

Girl group TripleS is making waves with their new DIMENSION, Vision@ry Vision! On the 23rd, TripleS VV officially releases their first album, Performante, marking the start of their exciting activities. The album's title, which means "high performance" in Italian, reflects the members' determination to showcase their unique talents.

The title track, "Hit The Floor," tackles the stereotypes girls face, especially about their looks. It tells a powerful story of overcoming these stereotypes and getting back up after falling. The song features a cool mix of boom bap and high-energy dance, making it stand out.

The music video for "Hit The Floor" is directed by Mood Film, known for their work on TripleS AAA’s "Generation." It's been called one of the most dynamic music videos in girl group history, and fans can expect TripleS VV to deliver performances that rival those of male idols.

Performante includes nine more amazing tracks, starting with the opening song "Visual Virtue." Other tracks are "Choom," a companion piece to the title song, the Italian dance tune "Eclair," and "Romance Novel," which captures the clichés of young love. There’s also "Atmosphere," which fans previously heard only at showcases, "12 Rings," showcasing twelve different emotions, and "Vision," featuring lyrics and vocal direction by Park So Hyun. The album closes with the dance track "Bionic Power" and the title track "Visionary Vision," making a total of ten captivating songs!

In the first half of 2024, TripleS plans to release a complete album titled ASSEMBLE 24, featuring all 24 members and the title track "Girls Never Die." With Performante, TripleS VV aims to prove they are truly "the idol of all possibilities." They are creating their unique universe through new units, combinations, and music!

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
