Former fromis_9 member Lee Sae Rom is taking on a new acting role in SBS drama Flex X Cop 2.
On August 26, her agency 333 confirmed that Lee Sae Rom will appear as Song Ah Reum, a beautiful bartender who becomes connected to Yoo Seung Ho’s character, world-famous sculptor Yoo Sung Won.
Song Ah Reum is drawn into a mysterious case after Yoo Sung Won asks her to become his model. As his muse, she is expected to become an important link in the investigation involving Ahn Bo Hyun’s Jin Yi Soo and Jung Eun Chae’s Joo Hye Ra.
Lee Sae Rom is expected to show the character’s subtle emotional changes as the situation around her becomes increasingly tense, while adding a mysterious presence to the unfolding storyline.
Flex X Cop 2 follows wealthy detective Jin Yi Soo, played by Ahn Bo Hyun, and new team leader Joo Hye Ra, played by Jung Eun Chae, as they solve cases using both police work and Yi Soo’s unusual access to wealth and influence.
The drama has continued to attract viewers, with Episode 6 recording a nationwide rating of 7.5% according to Nielsen Korea.
Lee Sae Rom previously promoted as a member of fromis_9 before leaving the group. She later signed with agency 333 and has since begun focusing more actively on her acting career.
With Yoo Seung Ho’s Yoo Sung Won becoming more important to the story, attention is now turning to how Lee Sae Rom’s Song Ah Reum will fit into the mystery surrounding him.
