    New behind-the-scenes photos from 'The Land of Happiness' have just been released, showcasing a range of emotions from the film.

    Directed by Choo Chang Min, 'The Land of Happiness' tells the gripping story of Park Tae Joo, who was caught up in the presidential assassination case on October 26, 1979, and lawyer Jeong In Ho, who tackled the high-profile trial during a turbulent time in Korea. The latest photos reveal intense moments from the film and the lively atmosphere behind the scenes.

    In one of the intense stills, Jo Jung Suk’s character, Jeong In Ho, appears deep in thought with a serious look. The defense team members, including Lee Man Sik (Woo Hyun) and Byun Ha Myung (Jeon Bae Soo), also wear solemn expressions, reflecting the film's serious tone and the team's struggles during the trial.

    However, the behind-the-scenes shots show a different side of the production. Jo Jung Suk and the defense team are seen reviewing footage together, revealing a warm and friendly vibe on set.

    Another still captures Lee Sun Kyun’s character, Park Tae Joo, with a stern and serious expression. Despite the intense portrayal, the making-of photos show Lee Sun Kyun grinning happily, highlighting the fun and positive experience of filming.

    Yoo Jae Myung, who plays Jeong Sang Doo, also shows a different side in the behind-the-scenes shots. Known for his intense screen presence, he is seen discussing scenes with director Choo Chang Min, demonstrating his dedication and professionalism.

    Jo Jung Suk shared his enjoyment of working with his co-stars, saying, "Working with Lee Sun Kyun and Yoo Jae Myung felt like being with three brothers. I was very happy during the shoot."

    Yoo Jae Myung added, “We often used the word ‘happy’ on set. It truly was a joyful time together, just like the title of the film.”

    Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

    On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

    During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

    He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

    The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

    “I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

    He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

    “In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

    Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
