• Min Hee Jin Addresses BTS, LE SSERAFIM, and ILLIT's Emotional Struggles

During a recent press conference, ADOR’s CEO Min Hee Jin faced questions from reporters. One reporter specifically asked about the emotional impact on BTSLE SSERAFIM, and ILLIT due to ongoing feuds and circulating rumors online.

    Min Hee Jin responded candidly:

"I believe that NewJeans has also been hurt, and everyone has been affected by this. I am human too, right? One of our [ADOR] members made an impressive comment, saying, ‘It seems like people think Min Hee Jin is not human.’ But I am human, and so are others, including all the members.

Rather than singling out anyone, I want to emphasize that if we truly want to avoid causing harm—journalists included—we should refrain from discussing this matter altogether. Let’s stop mentioning it. The path to healing lies in compromise. We need open conversations and innovative solutions to move forward."

Netizens widely supported Min Hee Jin’s perspective, recognizing that the initial mention of BTS, LE SSERAFIM, and ILLIT came from Korean media headlines, not directly from Min Hee Jin herself.

    Reactions included:

"It’s unbelievable that some still try to divide the members and determine who suffered more. All those artists were hurt.”

“Are some journalists still biased toward HYBE?”

“For some, it’s not just about being ‘hurt’; it’s about reevaluating their entire careers.”

“NewJeans members have endured a lot during this ordeal.”

“Min Hee Jin isn’t the one who caused their pain.”

“Strange how journalists who used idols’ names are now doing the same to Min Hee Jin, trying to make her feel guilty.”

“This comment seems biased toward HYBE.”

“Why didn’t they ask about NewJeans’ well-being?”

“The fault lies with the companies, not the artists.”

“Why do people trust one side so quickly?”

    What are your thoughts?

  • J.Y. Park Shares Heartbreaking News of His Father’s Passing, ‘You Were the Best Dad to Me’

On January 20, singer and producer J.Y. Park revealed the heartbreaking news that his father has passed away.

In a deeply emotional message, J.Y. Park wrote, “Just before the final live broadcast of THE DDANDDARA, my father passed away and went to heaven. The timing was incredible—I travel so much for work, but he passed while I was filming just 10 minutes away from his hospital. Because of that, I was able to see him while he was still alive and also right after he passed. I’m so thankful for that.”

J.Y. Park shared that his father had been battling dementia for years and had been mostly unconscious over the past year. “Our family had been preparing for this moment,” he explained, “but seeing him after he passed made my heart feel like it dropped to the ground.”

Finding comfort in his faith, he added, “When my dad was in the early stages of dementia, he became childlike and pure. During that time, he learned about Jesus and came to fully believe in the gospel. As a Christian family, this has been our strength. We know where he’s gone and that we’ll meet him again soon. Without that faith, I don’t think I could have gotten through this.”

Reflecting on his father’s impact, he said, “To the man I called not ‘Father’ but ‘Dad’ until the very end—my best friend who always believed in me and supported me. You’re probably reading this from heaven now. The person I am today is all thanks to you. Thank you, Dad. You truly were the best dad to me. Let’s talk a lot when we meet again.”

J.Y. Park concluded his message by requesting privacy for his family during this time. “To my friends and acquaintances, I’m sorry, but the funeral will be held quietly with just our family. I would appreciate it if you could join us in spirit.”

Fans around the world have expressed their condolences and support for J.Y. Park during this difficult time.
