• Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim Tae Ri Found Out They Already Met Before, But Couldn't Remember It At All

Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk confessed that they had met before filming the drama.

On February 9th, a production presentation for tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama "Twenty-Five Twenty-One" was held online. Director Jung Ji Hyun, actors Kim Tae Ri, Nam Joo Hyuk, Kim Ji Yeon (Bona), Choi Hyun Wook and Lee Joo Myung attended the meeting.

"Twenty-Five Twenty-One" is a drama about the romantic story of two people who first met when they were 22 and 18, then again four years later at 25 and 21. The story follows the pure and fierce growth of immature youth and the excitement and difficulties between friendship and love.

Kim Tae Ri plays Na Hee Do, a professional fencer for the National Fencing team after many twists and turns. Her high school team had to disband due to the IMF financial crisis that struck South Korea in the late 1990s. She is a bold person who doesn’t know how to give up.

On this day, Nam Joo Hyuk said about his first meeting with Kim Ta Ri, "I thought we were meeting for the first time because we were doing a drama together. But to realize we've already met before. We had been filming a commercials together a few years ago. I really thought it was my first time seeing her, too. Thanks to that, I was able to get close to her quickly although I was really surprised".

In response, Kim Tae Ri said, "I only remember one advertisement, but found out we have two advertisements taken together. I don't know how neither of us wasn't able to remember", she burst into laughter.

Nam Joo Hyuk said, "I said "Nice to meet you" to her, but after that I suddenly remembered (in my memory). I thought I made a mistake", he said.

    "Twenty-Five Twenty-One" will premiere at 9:10 p.m. on Saturday, on February 12th.

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
