Nam Joo Hyuk is drawing attention with his new pictorial ahead of his upcoming Netflix drama “Donggung.”
In the released photos, Nam Joo Hyuk showed his signature stylish mood and deep gaze, proving once again why he is often praised for his strong pictorial presence. His sharper look and more mature atmosphere also caught fans’ eyes.
Nam Joo Hyuk is set to return through Netflix’s “Donggung.” The drama follows Gu Cheon, played by Nam Joo Hyuk, a man who can move between the world of ghosts, and Saeng Gang, played by No Yoon Seo, a palace maid who has a secret.
After being called by the king, played by Cho Seung Woo, the two begin uncovering a curse inside the Eastern Palace.
At the “Next on Netflix 2026 Korea” event held on January 21, Nam Joo Hyuk introduced the project and said, “I will meet you through a project called ‘Donggung.’ I play a role that moves between two worlds.”
He also raised expectations for the drama’s scale and action scenes, adding, “I performed many different action scenes, so I think many colorful and varied scenes will appear.”
With his new pictorial and upcoming fantasy role, Nam Joo Hyuk is already building anticipation for his next screen comeback.
