EXO's Suho has been confirmed to star alongside Park Hee Soon in the upcoming action film Father's Secret, which is scheduled to begin filming in November.

Suho will play Tae Sung, the son of Park Hee Soon's character, in a story centered on a family secret that changes the young man's life.

Father's Secret follows Tae Sung, an ordinary young man who becomes caught in an unexpected series of events after discovering something his father has kept hidden. As he searches for the truth, he is forced to confront difficult choices involving his family.

Tae Sung is described as a young man who has recently completed his military service and is torn between pursuing his dream of becoming a musician and returning to university.

The character is expected to go through major emotional changes as he faces new challenges and gradually becomes stronger.

The film has already gained attention before production. Its screenplay was selected for the Cannes Film Festival's Cinéfondation Residency and also received the Busan Award at the Asian Project Market during the Busan International Film Festival.

Director Yoon Jae Ho, known for Madame B and Beautiful Days, will write and direct the project.

The film will combine family conflict, hidden truths, and action as Tae Sung and his father face the consequences of the secret between them.

Suho has continued to build his acting career across dramas, musicals, and films, and Father's Secret will give him another opportunity to take on a more emotionally intense role.

Production is expected to begin in November, with the film currently planned for release in 2027.
