Actress Shin Min Ah has revealed the funny reason she stopped updating her personal blog after sharing only three posts, despite starting it with great enthusiasm.

On the October 28 episode of tvN's "You Quiz on the Block", Shin Min Ah appeared as a guest for the first time in six years and opened up about her short-lived blogging experience.

During the conversation, host Yoo Jae Suk asked why she decided to start a blog last year when many celebrities were opening other types of social media channels.

Shin Min Ah gave a surprisingly honest and simple answer.

*"Because I wanted to look trendy,"* she admitted, drawing laughter.

Yoo Jae Suk jokingly responded, *"So our guess was right."*

The actress explained that she initially took blogging seriously and carefully planned how she wanted to present her posts.

*"I was really enthusiastic when I started. I thought writing too much might feel a little cheesy, so I wanted to share photos with short, witty captions. I thought that would be fun,"* she said.

Shin Min Ah also revealed that her phone gallery is filled with pictures of nature, including the sky, mountains, birds, and flowers.

Since she rarely looked at those photos again after taking them, she thought a blog would be a good place to keep and share her favorite moments.

However, what started as a simple hobby eventually became more difficult than she expected.

*"At first, I mostly posted about my travels, but even that wasn't easy,"* she explained.

She admitted that her desire to make every post entertaining turned blogging into a time-consuming activity.

*"Because I wanted to make it fun, choosing the right photos took a long time, and I also had to think of the right captions. It became difficult,"* she shared.

As a result, Shin Min Ah ended up taking an unexpectedly long break from blogging.

*"I've been taking a break for about a year now. I haven't been able to update it,"* she confessed, making everyone laugh.

Despite her original plans to share travel memories and nature photos, her blog has remained at just three posts.

Her amusing confession showed how even a simple hobby can become challenging when trying to make every update entertaining and well-planned.
