Jeon Somi shared a funny story about joining a large online group-buying chat room and unexpectedly getting scolded after asking a question.
On October 19, Somi revealed the experience through her YouTube channel *Jeon Somi*, explaining that she came across a group-buying offer on Instagram and decided to join an open chat room to make a purchase.
According to Somi, around 2,000 mothers were in the chat, which was extremely active.
She said, *“About 300 messages would pile up in just 30 minutes.”*
Somi even created a sentimental nickname to blend in with the group.
When the group-buying event opened, participants received the product details and purchase link in advance. Somi said she prepared the items in her cart and successfully completed her order as soon as sales began at 11 a.m. the following day.
She proudly joked, *“Luckily, my fingers were fast, so I bought everything.”*
However, things became more intimidating when she asked a question in the chat.
Somi recalled, *“I asked one thing and got scolded. They told me that if I had read the notices, I wouldn’t have asked that question.”*
She added that the chat had around 20 separate notices to read. According to Somi, members told her that the rules needed to be checked several times because new details could be missed on the first read.
Somi told the story in a light and humorous way, turning what could have been an awkward online shopping experience into a funny behind-the-scenes look at her everyday life.
