The script reading offered an early glimpse of Jang Nara and Kim Hye Yoon's partnership, with the two actresses portraying lawyers who bring different strengths to their cases.

Meanwhile, P.O returns as Jeon Eun Ho, a lawyer known for his friendly personality and ability to understand Cha Eun Kyung's direct way of speaking.

One of the biggest additions revealed during the script reading is Park Hae Jin, who joins the drama as Park Tae Soo, the head of Taesoo Law Firm.

His character is also Cha Eun Kyung's former university classmate and a strong competitor in the divorce law industry.

Park Tae Soo's arrival is expected to introduce a new professional rivalry, as both lawyers compete to establish themselves as leading figures in their field.

The production team also shared what viewers can expect from the upcoming season, stating:

"Season 2 will feature more intense divorce cases, new partners, new rivals, and more diverse relationships between the characters."

Good Partner 2 will once again be written by Choi Yoo Na, a practicing divorce lawyer who also wrote the first season. Seo Min Jung will direct the new installment.

The original Good Partner gained attention for its realistic portrayal of divorce cases and workplace relationships, while Jang Nara received the Grand Prize at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards for her performance.

With the first script reading now revealed, Good Partner 2 is preparing to bring together familiar characters and new faces, particularly the developing partnership between Jang Nara and Kim Hye Yoon and the rivalry introduced by Park Hae Jin.
