Singer and actor Lee Seung Gi stepped away from his usual celebrity schedule to experience everyday work at a parenting cafe, including cleaning toys and talking with other parents about raising children.
According to reports, Lee Seung Gi recently worked at a parenting cafe while filming content for his YouTube channel *Lee Seung Gi-i*.
During the experience, he learned how to clean toys and play equipment used by young children and took part in other routine tasks at the facility.
He also spoke with parents visiting the cafe and exchanged stories about childcare, drawing on his own experience as a father.
Lee Seung Gi has previously shared that his daily life has changed significantly since becoming a parent.
In the first video on his YouTube channel, he said, *“These days, my life is really just work and family. Those are the two things.”*
He explained that he actively participates in childcare with his wife, actress Lee Da In, and often spends weekends going out with his daughter or playing with her after kindergarten.
Speaking about parenting, Lee Seung Gi stressed that actual experience matters.
He said, *“You can’t fake parenting. The hands and actions of someone who has actually done it are different. You can’t just talk about it.”*
He added, *“These days, I really only do two things: singing and parenting.”*
Lee Seung Gi also shared that his daughter has started to understand that her father is a singer.
He said she frequently watches videos of him performing and sometimes proudly tells people at kindergarten, *“My dad is someone who sings.”*
The parenting cafe experience gave Lee Seung Gi a chance to apply his own childcare experience in a more ordinary working environment, from cleaning children’s spaces to having practical conversations with other parents.
Lee Seung Gi married Lee Da In in 2023. The couple currently has two children.
