Lee Joon has shared his current views on dating, revealing that he would prefer to avoid relationships with someone working in the same entertainment industry.
On the October 9 episode of MBN and Channel S variety show *Jun Hyun Moo Plan 4*, Lee Joon spoke openly about marriage and what kind of relationship he would want in the future.
When asked whether he plans to get married, Lee Joon said he is not setting a specific goal or deadline.
He explained, *“If I get married, I get married. If I don’t, I don’t. I’m neither completely open nor completely closed to it.”*
The conversation then turned to dating someone from the same industry.
When asked whether he would prefer a fellow entertainer, Lee Joon answered clearly, *“I want to avoid it as much as possible.”*
He explained that his preference comes from wanting a relationship with as little conflict or emotional pressure as possible.
Lee Joon said, *“I really don’t want to fight at all. I don’t want to feel disappointed, and I don’t want to make the other person feel disappointed either.”*
He added that he prefers a comfortable relationship where both people can respect each other’s separate lives.
Jun Hyun Moo agreed with his view, saying, *“I’m exactly the same. I like someone who can respect each other’s individual lives.”*
Lee Joon previously had a public relationship with actress Jung So Min after the two met through the 2017 drama *My Father Is Strange*. Their relationship was confirmed in 2018, and they later announced their breakup after dating for several years.
However, Lee Joon did not connect his current preference about avoiding industry relationships to that past relationship or give any specific reason related to his former partner.
Instead, his latest comments focused on what he wants now: a peaceful relationship built around independence, comfort, and mutual respect.
