Kim Ji Won’s new drama "Doctor X: Mafia in White" is gaining momentum fast, with its ratings jumping by 3.5 percentage points in just one episode.

According to Nielsen Korea, the second episode of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama recorded a nationwide rating of 14.9% and 14.7% in the Seoul metropolitan area.

The drama also reached a peak rating of 17.4% during the episode.

The result marks a sharp rise from its premiere, which recorded 11.4% nationwide. In just one episode, *Doctor X: Mafia in White* increased its nationwide rating by 3.5 percentage points.

The drama also ranked No. 1 among all Saturday miniseries in its time slot.

Its performance was also strong among younger viewers. The 20-49 demographic recorded an average rating of 4.6% and peaked at 5.4%, reportedly placing first among all programs aired during the week in that demographic.

The second episode continued to follow Kim Ji Won’s character Gye Soo Jung, a highly skilled surgeon who challenges the hospital’s established system while handling difficult medical cases.

Without revealing major plot details, the episode highlighted Soo Jung’s confidence in the operating room while also beginning to raise questions about her past.

With ratings climbing from 11.4% to 14.9% after only two episodes, *Doctor X: Mafia in White* has quickly emerged as one of the strongest-performing new dramas on television.
