Ji Chang Wook’s new romance drama "Merry Berry Love" is already gaining global attention after releasing just its first episode.

According to CJ ENM, the series ranked **No. 9 worldwide in Disney+’s TV show category** on FlixPatrol as of October 8, only a day after premiering on October 7.

*Merry Berry Love* also entered the Disney+ Top 10 in **11 countries and regions**, including South Korea, Japan, Finland, Iceland, and Estonia.

The early ranking shows strong international interest in the cross-border romance starring Ji Chang Wook and Japanese actress Mio Imada.

The drama follows Lee Yoo Bin, a Korean space planner played by Ji Chang Wook, whose career falls apart after a business setback. He travels to a Japanese island, where he meets Karin Shirahama, a farmer played by Mio Imada.

Without revealing major plot details, the first episode introduces their complicated first meeting and sets up the developing relationship between the two characters.

Ji Chang Wook also drew attention for switching naturally between comedy and romance, using playful expressions in lighter scenes before showing a more emotional side as the story develops.

With *Merry Berry Love* already reaching No. 9 worldwide after only one episode, attention is now on whether the drama can continue climbing Disney+ rankings in the coming weeks.

New episodes of *Merry Berry Love* are released every Wednesday on Disney+.
