BOYNEXTDOOR has earned its first music show win for "ANIMAL" following the group’s latest comeback.
The group took first place on the October 8 broadcast of Mnet’s *M Countdown* with "ANIMAL", the title track from their first full-length repackaged album *HOME: DELUXE*.
After receiving the trophy, the members thanked fans for supporting the song, which they released while continuing their tour activities.
BOYNEXTDOOR said, *“Thank you for giving so much love to ANIMAL, which we promoted because we wanted to give fans a gift during the tour.”*
They continued, *“We feel like we are able to get through each day because ONEDOOR is with us. We will never take the love you give us for granted, and we will continue working even harder.”*
The group then celebrated with an encore stage, performing the song live after receiving the win.
*HOME: DELUXE* has also posted strong results on album charts. The release ranked No. 1 on Hanteo Chart’s weekly album ranking for September 28 to October 4.
In Japan, the album topped Oricon’s Daily Album Ranking on October 2, its first day of release. It later ranked No. 4 on both Oricon’s Weekly Album Ranking and Weekly Combined Album Ranking despite having only three days of local sales included in the tracking period.
The album’s tracks also entered Circle Chart’s latest weekly download ranking, with "ANIMAL" placing highest among the newly added songs at No. 8.
With their first "ANIMAL" trophy secured, BOYNEXTDOOR will continue their *BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR ‘KNOCK ON Vol.2’* with concerts at LaLa Arena Tokyo-Bay in Chiba, Japan, on October 10 and 11.
