RIIZE’s Anton has reached a new milestone by winning his first individual award for an OST.

Anton received the OST Award at the 21st Seoul International Drama Awards for *Close to Me*, his soundtrack for Yumi’s Cells 3.

During his acceptance speech, Anton explained why the song holds special meaning for him. He said, *“Close to Me is a little special to me because it was the first time I sang a song completely by myself from beginning to end, not just an OST.”*

Anton admitted that recording the track came with some pressure because it was his first time carrying an entire song alone.

He shared, *“I was worried and nervous while recording. Of course, I had fun doing it, but I still remember those feelings. I think those emotions came through well in the song, and that may be why so many people liked it.”*

Anton also thanked RIIZE’s fans, BRIIZE, for supporting the release and helping him reach the milestone.

He said, *“More than anything, I’m really thankful to BRIIZE, who worked so hard for me, gave me so much love, and spent their time supporting me. It really touched me.”*

Receiving an award alone also felt unfamiliar for Anton, who is usually joined by his RIIZE members. He added, *“This is my first time receiving an award by myself, so it feels unfamiliar and a little awkward. I hope the members and I can stay healthy and promote together for a long time. Let’s work hard as a team and win many awards too.”*

Anton also teased RIIZE’s upcoming comeback, revealing that the group will return with a new song on October 26 and asking fans to look forward to a different side of the group.

The OST award marks an important solo achievement for Anton, particularly because *Close to Me* was his first song performed entirely with his own voice from beginning to end.
