Jang Do Yeon became emotional while listening to RESCENE member Woni share what she hopes to do after receiving her first payment.
Woni and Minami appeared as guests on episode 150 of the YouTube variety show Salon Drip, released through the TEO channel on July 28.
During the conversation, Jang Do Yeon asked the two members what they wanted to do most after receiving their first earnings.
Minami answered, “I want to give it to my parents.”
Woni then shared that she wanted to buy beef for her mother.
When asked why, Woni explained, “Beef is considered a special meal. When my mother worked hard and earned money, that was the food she bought for me. Now, I want to buy it for her.”
Woni became tearful while speaking, and Jang Do Yeon also began to cry. Minami was visibly moved as well, and the three wiped away their tears together.
Jang Do Yeon then expressed her sincere support for RESCENE. She mentioned another video featuring the members and said it had also made her emotional.
“While watching that video, I thought that I hoped these young women would never get hurt,” she said.
She added, “RESCENE videos keep appearing in my recommendations because I enjoy the individual stories of Woni, Minami, and the other members. After watching them repeatedly, I began to feel personally connected to them.”
The conversation was emotional but warm, highlighting Woni’s appreciation for her mother and Jang Do Yeon’s growing affection for RESCENE.
