tvN’s Saturday Sunday drama “Filing for Love” continued to perform strongly in ratings with its latest episode.

Episode 8, which aired on May 17, recorded an average rating of 7.9% and a peak of 9.3% among households in the metropolitan area. Nationwide, the episode also recorded an average rating of 7.9% and a peak of 9.1%.

With this, “Filing for Love” remained No. 1 in its time slot among cable and general programming channels. The drama also ranked No. 1 among tvN’s target viewers aged 20 to 49 across all channels, including public broadcast channels.

The episode focused on Joo In Ah, played by Shin Hye Sun, finally realizing her true feelings for Noh Ki Joon, played by Gong Myung. After many misunderstandings and emotional struggles, the two confirmed their feelings with a romantic kiss.

Before that moment, Joo In Ah opened up about her fear of happiness and admitted, “Maybe it is because I do not really know how to be happy.” Noh Ki Joon comforted her with warm words, telling her that happiness is already inside her.

However, their romance was mixed with tension as the Haemu Pharmaceutical issue and past connections with Jeon Jae Yeol, played by Kim Jae Wook, continued to cause conflict.

Joo In Ah eventually made it clear that she was not going back to Jeon Jae Yeol and admitted that her heart had moved toward Noh Ki Joon.

The episode ended with another twist when Park Ah Jung, played by Hong Hwa Yeon, was revealed as the person behind Joo In Ah’s submission email, raising curiosity for the next episode.
