NCT 127 is off to a strong start with its latest comeback, taking No. 1 spots across major music charts in South Korea, China, and Japan.

The group released its seventh full-length album BLINGY on August 24, and the album quickly topped several charts.

In South Korea, BLINGY reached No. 1 on Bugs’ real-time music chart. In China, it topped QQ Music’s digital album sales chart and full-length album chart, as well as Kugou Music’s digital album sales chart. The group also ranked No. 1 on a Korean music video chart on QQ Music.

In Japan, NCT 127 took the top spot on AWA’s real-time rising chart.

The album also performed strongly on iTunes, reaching No. 1 on the Top Albums chart in countries including Chile, Colombia, Finland, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Türkiye, Lithuania, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Overall, BLINGY entered the Top 10 in 21 regions.

For this comeback, NCT 127 is promoting with five members — Taeyong, Johnny, Jaehyun, Haechan, and Yuta — while Doyoung and Jungwoo are currently completing their military service.

The group will officially kick off promotions with NCT 127 THE 7TH ALBUM [BLINGY] COMEBACK LIVE PARTY on August 25 at KINTEX in Ilsan.

During the event, NCT 127 will perform the title track Blingy live for the first time and share behind-the-scenes stories about the new album.

The comeback follows another major development for the group. In July, SM Entertainment confirmed that all seven NCT 127 members had renewed their contracts with the company.

Speaking about the decision, Taeyong said, “I think it is something worth celebrating. All of the members renewed as NCT 127 because it means we trust the company and the path we will continue walking together.”

He added, “We will keep working hard to show fans and the public good performances and good music. We want to show an even stronger side of NCT 127 in the future.”

With renewed contracts and BLINGY already topping charts across multiple countries, NCT 127 is beginning its latest chapter with strong early results.
