tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama Filing for Love is off to a strong start.

According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of Secret Audit, which aired on April 25, recorded an average nationwide rating of 4.4% and reached a peak of 6.0% on paid platforms.

The drama ranked No. 1 in its time slot among cable and general programming channels.

It also ranked No. 1 in its time slot among tvN’s target viewers aged 20 to 49 in both the Seoul metropolitan area and nationwide.

The first episode followed Noh Ki Joon, played by Gong Myung, an ace employee in the audit office who had been building a successful career by solving major company corruption cases.

However, his life changed after the arrival of new audit office chief Joo In Ah, played by Shin Hye Sun.

Just as Noh Ki Joon was expecting a promotion, Joo In Ah reassigned him to Audit Team 3, the lowest-ranking team in the office. The team is known for handling sensitive internal relationship reports and company gossip, making his new position a major setback.

His first case involved a report about an improper close relationship between company employees. A woman named Young Hee, played by Park Ha Sun, asked for an investigation after suspecting her husband of cheating. Noh Ki Joon looked into the case and concluded that it was not an affair.

However, Joo In Ah noticed something unusual and questioned his report. It was soon revealed that Young Hee’s claims were true. After Young Hee reacted angrily and threatened Noh Ki Joon, he tried to avoid her but ended up fainting in Joo In Ah’s arms.

With its strong ratings, sharp office setting, and unexpected ending, Filing for Love made a successful first impression on viewers.
