Fans are set to see the late Kim Sae Ron and Lee Chae Min together on screen in the upcoming youth romance film “Everyday We Are”, which is confirmed to release in February 2026. The movie’s team shared a teaser poster on December 30, sparking excitement online.
Based on the popular webtoon that recorded over 16 million views on KakaoPage, “Everyday We Are” tells a heartfelt story about the confusion of being seventeen, childhood friendships, and first love.
The story begins when Ho Su (Lee Chae Min) suddenly confesses to his childhood friend Yeo Wool (Kim Sae Ron) just before high school begins. Surprised by the confession and an unexpected kiss, Yeo Wool reacts with anger, ending their friendship.
On the day of the high school entrance ceremony, fate brings them into the same school and same class. From there, their relationship faces awkward and confusing days, exploring the challenges of first love and the emotions of a friendship that has ended.

For Lee Chae Min, the role of Oh Ho Su marks his screen debut and first leading role, portraying a fresh and innocent high school boy experiencing his first love, showing a new charm that is different from his previous works.
The late Kim Sae Ron brings her signature bright smile and emotional depth to the role of Han Yeo Wool, a high school girl grappling with unexpected feelings for her childhood friend. Her lively and spirited performance promises to make the character unforgettable.
Supporting the leads are young actors Choi Yu Ju, formerly of girl group Cherry Bullet, and Ryu Eui Hyun, who gained recognition through the web drama “A Teen”. Together, the cast delivers the pure and relatable romance only possible in youth, adding to the anticipation surrounding the film.
The teaser poster shows Ho Su and Yeo Wool sharing an umbrella in the rain. Ho Su’s sincere expression pairs with the tagline, “Does first love really not come true?”, highlighting the confusion and excitement of experiencing first love at seventeen.
Meanwhile, Yeo Wool’s expression reflects the sadness of a friendship that has been broken, creating a sense of empathy and curiosity for viewers.
With its heartfelt story, beloved leads, and the emotional weight of being Kim Sae Ron’s final film, “Everyday We Are” is already drawing attention as one of the most anticipated youth romance films of 2026.
