Cortis is proving they’re truly “this year’s best rookie” after climbing back onto the US Billboard 200 with their debut album COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES.
The rising boy group — Martin, James, Joo Hoon, Seong Hyeon, and Geon Ho — re-entered the Billboard 200 at No.121 on the December 6 chart. This comes just a month after they previously returned at No.171 in October, showing strong fan demand and growing global attention.
Their debut album made huge waves earlier by landing at No.15 when it first entered the Billboard 200 in September, staying two weeks on the chart. This marks the highest debut album ranking in K-pop history for a non-project group and the best result for any new Korean boy group in the last four years.

Cortis’ powerful rise is being supported by award show stages, fresh self-produced content, and eye-catching fashion magazine features — all helping new fans discover the group.
The album is also climbing other Billboard charts fast, jumping 30 spots to No.14 on Top Album Sales and 19 spots to No.13 on Top Current Album Sales. On the World Albums chart, it rose to No.4.
Just three months after release, COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES passed 1.06 million copies on Circle Chart, becoming the only rookie debut album this year to go million-seller. It also surpassed 200 million streams on Spotify, proving its popularity with listeners around the world.
Cortis is also shining on major stages. At the 2025 MAMA Awards in Hong Kong, the group won Best New Artist, and their performance became one of the most-watched videos from the show on the Mnet K-POP YouTube channel.
Cortis is clearly not slowing down, and fans are excited to see just how far they’ll climb next.
