LE SSERAFIM’s Hong Eunchae is gaining attention as an unexpected “victory fairy” after teams reportedly remained unbeaten in games where she appeared for the ceremonial first pitch.
On August 29, Hong Eunchae threw the first pitch at the 2026 KBO League game between the Doosan Bears and Kiwoom Heroes at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul.
Wearing a simple sporty outfit, she delivered a steady pitch before staying at the stadium to support the game until the end.
During the match, Hong Eunchae also joined the cheering while LE SSERAFIM’s BOOMPALA played as Doosan trailed by one run.
The Bears later completed a comeback and defeated Kiwoom 7–2, giving Hong Eunchae another winning result following one of her first-pitch appearances.
Hong Eunchae is already known among fans for her interest in baseball, and the latest victory added to the playful “victory fairy” nickname surrounding her appearances.
With teams reportedly going 4–0 across games where she has thrown the ceremonial first pitch, fans are now taking notice of Hong Eunchae’s unusual winning streak at the ballpark.
