Forecasts for BTS’s first full-group world tour in four years are rising fast, and fans are getting more excited as industry experts predict huge numbers for the group’s 2026 comeback tour.
On November 28, Daol Investment and Securities researcher Lim Do Young shared a new report estimating that HYBE could earn between 1.3 trillion and 1.4 trillion KRW from BTS’s 2026 world tour. Other securities firms have also raised their predictions, sparking a wave of hype online.
Earlier forecasts already showed strong expectations. Heungkuk Securities predicted 65 shows with 3.9 million fans, while LS Securities expected 60 shows with over 3 million attendees and a major jump in HYBE’s concert revenue. Now, analysts say the numbers could grow even higher.

According to Daol Investment and Securities, the expected rise in ticket prices and strong sales of MD (merchandise) will be big drivers. Lim said that North America’s average ticket price may reach 220 USD, with similar increases in Asia, pushing the global average to around 270,000 KRW. With this, ticket sales alone may reach about 900 billion KRW.
MD sales are also expected to soar thanks to the group’s first full tour in years. Experts say items like the renewed ARMY Bomb could see huge demand. Lim noted, “BTS fans have stronger buying power than most, so MD sales are likely to show a very strong effect.”

Industry insiders also predict the tour will be one of the biggest entertainment events of the year. LS Securities researcher Park Sung Ho shared, “With BTS set to return, their performance rebound is expected to be the strongest in the entire entertainment sector.”
Reports say BTS may hold over 30 shows in North America alone, with more than 37 shows when combined with Europe. Analysts predict the group will drop a new album in March 2026 and begin the tour at the end of April, with the official tour announcement expected in January.
Fans are already reacting to the rising forecasts. One fan wrote, “Will we really get the tour schedule in January? BTS is coming!” Another added, “Almost 1 billion USD from one tour? That demand after enlistment is going to be insane.”
Many fans joked—or worried—about the ticketing challenge ahead. Comments included, “I need to be one of those attendees” and “Forget it, ticketing will be impossible.” Another fan shared, “These reports are tiring… this is the 79th article in six months. Just announce it already!”
All BTS members are expected to finish military service by June 2025 and are currently preparing new music in Los Angeles, as anticipation for their massive 2026 return continues to grow.
