SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan opened up about how much his respect for Kim Yeon Kyung has grown after working with her on Rookie Director Kim Yeon Kyung.

On November 21, Seungkwan shared his thoughts through Pledis Entertainment, saying he feels proud to see the show receiving so much love. He said, “I feel proud that all the hard work of the players and production staff who worked so hard for Rookie Director Kim Yeon Kyung is being rewarded with so much love.”

He also revealed that his admiration for Kim Yeon Kyung only became stronger while watching her lead the team. “As I watched Director Kim Yeon Kyung’s detailed strategies and coaching through the show, my respect for her grew even more,” he said.

Seungkwan then surprised fans by expressing his wish for another season. “If I get the chance, I want to meet the director and the ‘Victory Wonder Dogs’ again in season 2. I want to return as an even more improved ‘Manager Bbu’.”

In the show, Seungkwan played the role of the team’s manager, bringing energy, support, and positive spirit on and off the court. His sincere way of cheering, comforting players, and helping the team with analysis earned praise from viewers.
