
SBS’s hit Friday–Saturday drama Would You Marry Me finished its run on a high note, proving its strong popularity until the very last episode.
The finale lit up the night by recording the drama’s highest rating yet, peaking at 10.3 percent nationwide.
It also scored 9.6 percent in the Seoul area and 9.1 percent nationwide, once again rising to No. 1 in its time slot and No. 1 among all Saturday mini-series.
The series kept dominating the key 20–49 age group, posting 2.4 percent on average and climbing to 2.66 percent at its highest, showing that younger viewers stayed loyal until the end.
Thanks to strong word-of-mouth and growing global attention, Would You Marry Me continued to perform well outside Korea too.
On the global OTT ranking site FlixPatrol, the drama stayed near the top of Disney+ TV charts throughout its run and even reached No. 1 worldwide after Episode 6, especially gaining love from viewers in South America.
While the final episode showed a warm conclusion for the lead couple, viewers mainly celebrated how the drama maintained its momentum from start to finish.
Fans praised the chemistry of Choi Woo Sik and Jung So Min, calling their teamwork “perfect,” and shared excitement about the series ending on such a strong ratings high.
With its clean storytelling, lovable leads, and steady rise in numbers, Would You Marry Me officially wrapped up as one of SBS’s standout rom-com successes this year.
