Actress Chae Soo Bin made fans laugh as she shared a funny behind-the-scenes story about working with Kim Young Kwang in their upcoming Netflix drama Take Charge of My Heart.
During her guest appearance on Yoo Yeon Seok’s Weekend Yeon Seok Drama on October 11, Chae Soo Bin talked about how Kim Young Kwang is adjusting to his new romantic comedy role.
She said with a laugh, “(Kim Young Kwang) is having a hard time. I’ve gotten a bit used to the cheesy web novel-style lines,” adding, “He’s been doing serious genres for so long, so even when he says, ‘This line isn’t that bad,’ he still reacts like, ‘Ah, this is too much.’”
Her story quickly drew laughter, showing the playful chemistry between the two actors.
Take Charge of My Heart tells the story of a man whose artificial heart battery runs out and a woman with electric powers who helps recharge him — both emotionally and literally.
Kim Young Kwang plays Baek Ho Rang, a wealthy resort owner, while Chae Soo Bin stars as Na Bo Bae, a drama writer with electric powers.
Fans are already excited to see their chemistry, especially since Kim Young Kwang recently appeared alongside Lee Young Ae in A Good Day to Be a Dog.
