BTS member Jungkook has drawn major attention across South America after reportedly reaching No. 1 on X's real-time trending lists in four countries simultaneously.
According to a Korean media report, Jungkook topped the trending rankings in **Argentina, Peru, Colombia, and Chile** on the final day of BTS' concerts in Argentina.
The achievement followed the group's tour stops in Bogotá, Colombia; Lima, Peru; Santiago, Chile; and Buenos Aires, Argentina, where Jungkook continued to attract attention from local fans.
Throughout the South American performances, Jungkook reportedly remained among the top trending topics on X in several cities before reaching the top position across all four countries at the same time.
One moment that particularly caught fans' attention was Jungkook's use of a popular Spanish expression.
During the tour, he said, *"La recontra rompieron,"* an enthusiastic phrase commonly used to tell someone they did an amazing job.
His attempt to connect with audiences through the local language received playful responses from fans.
Some jokingly suggested giving Jungkook the Spanish name *"Joaquín,"* while others humorously said he deserved local citizenship.
The singer's popularity in the region has also been reflected in a previous overseas Hallyu survey released by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, which ranked him as the most influential male Korean Wave solo artist in South America.
Meanwhile, MTV Brazil joined the attention surrounding Jungkook through a post on its official X account.
The music channel wrote, *"We could spend hours praising our golden maknae Jungkook and never get tired."*
Jungkook also attracted attention during the Argentina concert after appearing on stage wearing a jersey with the number 10, famously associated with Argentine football star Lionel Messi.
The outfit gained additional interest because Jungkook previously performed the official song *Dreamers* at the opening ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, where Argentina went on to win the tournament.
Clips from his earlier Los Angeles performance also resurfaced on social media as fans continued sharing moments from the tour.
With Jungkook reportedly reaching No. 1 on X in four South American countries simultaneously, the latest social media activity highlights the strong response he has received from fans across the region.
