BIGBANG is officially returning to the global stage to celebrate their 20th anniversary, and they’re doing it in the biggest way possible — with a monumental performance at Coachella 2026.
The legendary group, now consisting of G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung, will perform at the world-famous Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in April 2026. The stage will serve as their official anniversary celebration — a “coronation” that symbolizes their 20-year reign in K-pop.
Fans might remember that BIGBANG was already confirmed for Coachella 2020 with T.O.P, but the event was canceled due to the pandemic.

This time, the group is finally fulfilling that long-awaited moment — now as a trio — with what’s expected to be one of the most iconic K-pop performances in festival history.
The upcoming lineup includes Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, and Karol G as headliners, alongside artists like The xx, Disclosure, The Strokes, Giveon, Young Thug, Kaskade, and K-pop acts Taemin and CatsEye — showing how global Coachella’s stage has become.
Adding to the excitement, their former agency YG Entertainment has reportedly supported BIGBANG’s Coachella comeback, granting permission for the group to perform under the “BIGBANG” name — a decision praised by fans as a show of mutual respect.

BIGBANG, who debuted in 2006, changed the course of K-pop with their hits Lies, Haru Haru, Fantastic Baby, Bang Bang Bang, and If You. Known as true pioneers and self-producing idols, they set a standard that shaped the next generation of artists.
After facing challenges — including scandals and lineup changes — BIGBANG made a powerful return in 2022 with Still Life, their first release in seven years. The emotional song topped charts and earned them the MAMA Male Vocal Group Award, proving their legacy still runs strong.
Now, with G-Dragon’s solo comeback and his recent stage reunion with Taeyang and Daesung, anticipation is growing for a potential new BIGBANG song — their first in four years.
As they prepare to take the Coachella stage in 2026, fans worldwide see it as more than just a performance. It’s a celebration of BIGBANG’s two-decade journey — a powerful reminder of why they’ll always be called the kings of K-pop.
