WINNER member Kang Seung Yoon shared a hilarious story about why he sometimes writes fake jobs on immigration forms.

On the September 5 broadcast of SBS PowerFM’s Cultwo Show, Kang Seung Yoon appeared as a special DJ. During the segment, he asked guests what they usually write under the “job” section when going through immigration.

While some said they write “artist” or “comedian,” Kang Seung Yoon admitted that he stopped being honest about his work.

He explained, “I used to write singer, singer-songwriter, or artist. But especially in the U.S., they always ask more questions like, ‘Why are you here?’ ‘Are you performing?’ It got annoying, so now I just put things like office worker, student, or photographer.”

He then revealed the surprising reason behind his change: fellow WINNER member Lee Seung Hoon.
“I noticed Seung Hoon hyung always got through immigration faster, even when I handed in my form first. I asked him why, and he said he just writes student, unemployed, or traveler. Then they just let him go quickly.”

laughed as he added that it’s simply easier to write something simple when traveling abroad. “But when coming back, since it’s Korea, it’s fine to write my real job,” he said.

Fans found the story relatable and funny, with many agreeing that sometimes keeping things simple is the best trick when going through immigration.
