SHINee member Minho has impressed fans with another athletic achievement after finishing third in his age group at the 2026 Tongyeong World Triathlon Cup event in South Korea.

On October 25, Minho participated in the amateur men's 35 to 39 age division of the competition held in Tongyeong, South Gyeongsang Province.

The singer and actor completed the demanding course in 2 hours, 27 minutes, and 13 seconds, securing third place in his category and earning a spot on the podium.

The race consisted of three challenging stages: a 1.5-kilometer swim, a 40-kilometer cycling course, and a 10-kilometer run.

Minho successfully completed all three stages, once again demonstrating his dedication to fitness and endurance sports.

Following the event, the Korea Triathlon Federation shared a video on its official social media account showing Minho crossing the finish line in a pink racing suit.

The SHINee member spread his arms wide as he finished the race before celebrating with a bright smile.

Minho also shared his excitement and gratitude through his personal social media account.

He wrote, "The Tongyeong triathlon is over. Thank you once again to everyone who supported me. Our SHINee World fans who came all this way are the best. A sweet finish after all the hard work."

He also expressed appreciation for his coach, giving credit to the person who helped him prepare for the competition.

Minho shared, "You trained an inexperienced student so well. Thank you sincerely. I give all the glory to my coach."

The latest result marks another achievement in Minho's growing experience with endurance competitions.

He previously made his triathlon debut in Chungju in June 2025, completing the race in 2 hours, 18 minutes, and 43 seconds.

Since then, he has continued participating in running events and maintaining his training in swimming, cycling, and running.

Although his Tongyeong finishing time was longer than his previous triathlon result, his third-place finish in the 35 to 39 age category marked a notable competitive achievement.

Fans have responded with congratulatory messages, praising his determination and commitment to challenging himself outside his entertainment career.

Meanwhile, Minho continues to balance his athletic interests with music.

He released his second solo mini album, Make It Hot, in September and is scheduled to hold his second solo concert, MINHO CONCERT 'MEAN : of feral', on November 28 and 29 at KBS Arena in Seoul.

With a third-place finish at the 2026 Tongyeong World Triathlon Cup's amateur age-group event, Minho has added another accomplishment to his growing list of athletic achievements.
