IVE member Ahn Yujin has drawn attention after reportedly being spotted at a luxury apartment complex in Seoul that previously made headlines over her reported successful housing application.
On October 23, the YouTube channel Alkong Dalkong Park Eun Young uploaded a video featuring a tour of The H Bangbae, a newly built apartment complex in Seocho District, Seoul, with approximately 3,000 residential units.
During the video, Park Eun Young visited an acquaintance living in the complex, which had previously attracted public interest following reports that Ahn Yujin had secured an apartment through South Korea's competitive housing subscription system.
Curious about the singer's connection to the property, Park Eun Young asked, "How does An Yu Jin come here and live?"
The resident replied, "I saw her yesterday."
However, the acquaintance explained that An Yu Jin may not actually be living in the apartment herself.
"I don't think she lives here. I think her parents live here, so we might see her visiting from time to time," the resident said.
The conversation sparked renewed interest in the IVE member's reported apartment purchase, particularly because of the property's high value and competitive application process.
The H Bangbae became one of Seoul's most talked-about residential developments after attracting approximately 50,000 applicants during its initial sales period, with an average competition rate of 90 applicants for every available unit.
At the time, apartment prices ranged from approximately 1.7 billion won for a 59-square-meter unit to around 2.76 billion won for a 114-square-meter unit.
The complex has since seen a significant increase in its reported market value, with asking prices for some 84-square-meter units reaching approximately 4 billion won.
Based on the difference between the original sale price and current asking prices, some estimates suggest that buyers of certain units could see a potential increase in property value approaching 1.8 billion won (approximately $1.3 million).
However, An Yu Jin's exact apartment size, original purchase price, and potential property gains have not been publicly confirmed. The estimated increase does not represent a verified profit earned by the singer.
While the resident's comments suggest that An Yu Jin's parents may be staying at the property, there has been no official confirmation of who currently lives in the apartment.
For now, the reported sighting has brought fresh attention to An Yu Jin's connection to the high-value residential complex, with fans and the public showing interest in the property and its rising market value.
