Actress Seol In Ah is showing a different side of herself in tvN's new drama Love in Disguise, drawing attention for her impressive action skills and dramatic transformation into a tough detective.
The drama, which premiered on October 19, features Seol In Ah as Kang Jae Hee, a former special forces member turned detective who goes undercover to investigate a murder case involving a wealthy businessman.

Her action performance had already received praise from director Park Dan Hee even before the drama premiered.
During the production press conference on October 14, Park expressed admiration for the actress's physical abilities, saying, "I've never seen an actress who performs action better than the action team."
The director's remarks have gained renewed attention following the broadcast, with Seol In Ah demonstrating the action skills highlighted during the event.
Beyond the fighting scenes, the actress also underwent a major visual transformation for the role.
She adopted a short hairstyle and adjusted her walking style, posture, and body movements to convincingly portray a female detective hiding her identity as a male personal secretary.
Her agency, Gold Medalist, highlighted the effort she put into preparing for the character.
The agency explained, "Seol In Ah's bold transformation through her male disguise has also brought out a different charm."
It added that she carefully worked on small physical details, including her posture and center of gravity, to make the character's disguise more convincing.
Gold Medalist also encouraged viewers to support the actress as she moves between the character's true identity as a detective and her undercover role.
