• Epik High’s DJ Tukutz Makes Headlines for Stopping an Assault on an Apartment Security Guard — Here's What He Exactly Did

Epik High’s DJ Tukutz recently made a surprise appearance in the news—not for music, but for stepping in to stop an assault on an apartment security guard.

On March 26, Epik High (Tablo, Mithra, DJ Tukutz) released a new episode of their YouTube series EPIKASE.

In the episode, the group went on a retreat, enjoying a barbecue party, games, and open conversations. As they set off, Tablo commented, “This is the first time the three of us are traveling together when it’s not for a performance. It feels a little strange.”

During the trip, DJ Tukutz casually dropped a surprising revelation, saying, “I was in the news.” He then explained that he had been featured in a report about an apartment security guard assault case—not as a suspect, but as a resident who stepped in to stop the violence.

His heroic act quickly gained attention, with residents praising him for taking action in a difficult situation.

Later in the episode, Mithra jokingly expressed regret over their traditional hanok-style lodging, saying, “We should’ve worn modernized hanbok.”

The group also cracked up when a phone, which had been sitting still, mysteriously fell to the floor as if a ghost had pushed it—yet none of them seemed fazed.

As they enjoyed dinner, the trio reminisced about past experiences, including filming a beer commercial, going camping, and playing a bottle cap-flicking game. Their natural chemistry and humor provided a heartwarming moment for fans.

At the end of the episode, a teaser for next week showed the members playing drinking games like the Son Byung Ho Game, doing a character quiz, and even dancing—building excitement for the next installment.

Meanwhile, Epik High continues to connect with fans through fun and diverse content on their YouTube channel.

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
